This letter acknowledges the professional attitude and performance demonstrated by realtor Christine Martin during the procurement of our new home in Martinsville,Indiana. In the summer of 2005 I retired from my position in Connecticut and we chose to move to Indiana for retirement. Prior to our move we wanted to look at Indiana properties to get an idea of the availability of the type of homes and the price range. We wanted to look at homes in Plainfield,Monrovia,Martinsville,Eminence, Avon,Clayton and Danville. In advance of the move Christine showed us numerous properties in all of these different communities and we finally chose to "go for the one" we really liked and wanted. However, our condo in Connecticut had to be prepared, put on the market and sold prior to purchase of a new home. Christine asked if we'd like her to recommend a realtor in Connecticut close to our residence, and we said that'd be great. She contacted a local realtor and asked him to contact us. We met with the realtor, was very happy with his approach and attitude, and turned the sale over to him. So Christine was helping us at both ends. The sale in Connecticut went quickly and smoothly, and we were able to formally make our offer on the property in Indiana while in Connecticut. Like in most cases the first offer didn't close the deal, so counter-offers were made by Christine while communicating with us via telephone, email and fax. All the follow-up transactions, i.e., financing, inspections, correction of discrepancies, meetings with the sellers realtor, arranging for the closing and the numerous other details were handled quickly and professionally by Christine. Needless to say, we're settled in our new home and happy in retirement. We would recommend Christine to anyone needing a realtor, and as a matter of fact we're doing that as this letter is written. She demonstrated integrity, knowledge of real estate transactions and professionalism throughout our entire home purchase. Working with Christine was pleasant and a pleasure!

I wanted to thank you for all the fantastic work and effort you put forth in order to get the home we really wanted. You did an excellent job gaining an understanding of what both my wife and I wanted in our new home. That must have been a real challenge because Marnie and I both had similar yet different wants and needs. You were able to listen to both of us on the phone, via Email and through conversation to coordinate our showings and home selections in a quick, efficient and effective manner. What made this even more of a challenge was the fact that we really weren’t sure if we wanted a country home, a home in a neighborhood, what school district or even which way the garage door would face. Wow!! (Remember little Nicholas falling down the stairs at one home!!!!)

Enough on the purchasing part.
The selling was the scary part for me. I appreciate your knowledge in how to prep and sell a home. We would have never sold our house for the price we needed and would never have been able to sell quickly either. From the listing process through the open house and through the inspection process you were an excellent team mate that drove to satisfy us. I can only imagine how hard that was to do. Again, wow!!
Thanks for all the time you spent with us. You were part of our family during this and now that the communications have stopped, there seems to be a void in our lives.
